Role: Bridge & Wharf Carpenter
Employment: Full time employment. Three (3) month trial / suitability period.
Location: Sydney, NSW.
Description: Seeking an experienced marine construction worker with a minimum of four (4) years continuous exposure to the industry. The position is open to suitably qualified and experienced individuals who can operate with competence and minimal supervision while leading a small crew of workers. Key attributes and experience should include:
- Previous leading hand / supervisory roles;
- Attention to detail;
- Results driven;
- Local knowledge of Sydney Harbour & joining rivers;
- Jetty & wharf construction / Bridge & wharf carpentry;
- Barge & workboat operations; and
- Marine piling operations.
Ideal, but not essential:
- COXN 3 or above;
- Welding / fabrication experience;
- HR licence;
- Excavator ticket; and
- Riggers / Dogman.
Non negotiable's:
- Valid NSW drivers licence;
- NSW recreational boating licence;
- Permanent resident and/or Australian citizen;
- Provide evidence of industry experience (referees etc); and
- Willingness to Undergo National Police Check.
